I am an entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in the wholesale distribution industry. During this time, I have successfully worked with my team at the National Material Supply Co., LLC (NMS) in securing thousands of Supply Contract Awards with both Federal and Commercial customers. Our company has also been extremely successful in supporting the US Military through the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).

Prior to joining NMS, I worked for Anheuser-Busch as a Corporate Engineer in 1996. In this role, I served as a Lead Mechanical Engineer with a STL Warehouse Modification Project for the Beer Packaging and Shipping Division in St. Louis, MO. In 1998, I began my career with Boeing, initially serving as an Engineering Scientist with Phantom Works, and later serving as an Enterprise Auditor, and a Business Development Manager with Boeing’s Industrial Participation Programs Office. In this position, I successfully managed Foreign Military Sales Offset Programs in both Italy and Kuwait.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), 1996; and a Masters of Business Administration from the Washington University Olin School of Business, 2001.

  • When does this Pre-Scheduled Virtual DLA Workshop Start and Finish?

    This Pre-Scheduled Virtual DLA Workshop will commence on the dates as shown above in the "About this 3-Day Workshop" section.

    Seats are Limited. Therefore, you must be Pre-Enrolled within 24-hours prior to the start of the Pre-Scheduled Workshop Event to secure your seat.

    PLEASE NOTE: If a minimum of 2 Student-Clients do not Pre-Enroll in-time for this Pre-Scheduled Workshop Event, you will qualify for a full credit towards the next Scheduled Workshop Event, or you may request a full refund, as well.

  • How long do I have access to this Virtual DLA Workshop Event?

    After pre-enrolling, you have full access to this Virtual DLA Workshop via the scheduled ZOOM Live-Streams, throughout the Consecutive 3-Day, Virtual DLA Workshop Event. Your access details will be provided after you've successfully pre-enrolled in the Virtual DLA Workshop.

  • What if I am unhappy with the Workshop?

    Based on our limited seating constraints, All Sales of our ZOOM Live-Streamed, Interactive Advanced DLA Vendor Workshops, shall be considered as NON-REFUNDABLE. ALL SALES ARE FINAL and NON-TRANSFERABLE.

  • Does my company need to be established in order to attend the Workshop?

    No! This class is largely committed to introducing you to the number of ways to do business with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). You will discover the many possibilities and can choose how to move forward at any point. However, you will not be able to actively participate in some of the exercises if your business is not established and registered in both Sam.gov and on the DLA's Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS).

  • Can someone attend with me?

    Yes. However, they must be pre-enrolled separately.

  • Will we receive a workbook and course materials?

    The short answer, no. However, Prerequisites are suggested for each Scheduled Workshop Day. Please review the Workshop Curriculum as provided for additional details. Also, be prepared to take notes as you work through the course material. There will be lots of hands-on interactive activities.

  • Should I register in SAM.gov and DIBBS prior to the start date?

    While it is not required, students who come into the class with an active registration on both SAM.gov and DIBBS tend to move faster and quickly pursue Federal Supply Opportunities with the DLA.

  • I don't know what I want to do with my business yet. Is it wise for me to attend?

    Yes! A large part of my goal is to EXPOSE you to the many ways in which one can do business with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). You will explore the landscape during this course and be given the tools and techniques to build whenever you're ready.
